Jewelry Design Intern
We are seeking an intern to work with the design assistant in our NYC showroom. We prefer either a current student or recent alum with an academic background in jewelry fabrication. We are a tight-knit organization and appreciate kindness, humor, reliability, and a strong work ethic in our members. Our design intern will need to make a minimum commitment of two days per week for three months.
About the Position
We are looking for an intern who can offer our team exceptional and detailed workmanship and quality product. In particular, we are seeking an individual with a strong background in metal forging. However, this role requires proficiency in and will entail responsibility for all aspects of jewelry production including parts assembly, soldering, hammering, post-production, etc.
- Academic or professional experience in jewelry production and/or metal-smithing.
- Minute soldering skills are a plus; ability to work with 24 & 26 gauge sheet and wire with an oxy-acetylene torch.
- Ability to planish and forge using hammer and anvil.
- Strong ability to manipulate hand tools including the use of a flex shaft, files, saws and pliers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability/desire to act as a team player.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work product and space.
- Experience as a production bench jeweler or a strong drive to learn repetitive tasks and master a trade.

Jewelry Sales and Marketing Intern
As an intern, you will be assisting the sales and marketing team in our NYC showroom. We are a tight-knit organization and appreciate kindness, humor, self-motivation and a strong work ethic in our members.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop a must, InDesign a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, visually-oriented.
- Ability/desire to act as a team player.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A strong value system including, but not limited to, honesty, quality and trust.
- A passion for fashion, design, and the arts.
- An interest in growing personally and professionally within a dynamic organization
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and maintaining our image database.
- Assisting with product photography and image clean-up.
- Assisting in the creation of marketing material such as line sheets and lookbooks.
- Creating and tracking press loans for magazines and events.
